Since 2005, Paul Keller’s Family Martial Arts Academy has been providing martial arts instruction and lessons in Tigard, and the surrounding area. On October 1, 2010 we moved our Academy a couple miles to better include those living in Beaverton. We are in the Progress Plaza, 8618 SW Hall Blvd. conveniently located by Scholls Ferry and 217.

We offer what we believe to be the best and most complete martial art in the world. In fact, Family Martial Arts Academy earned during 2009-2010 recognition from Google Places to be in the top 1% of all performing businesses (over 250,000) in the USA. And for 5 years running, we’ve been selected as one of the “Top 100 Martial Arts Schools” by the American Shorin-Ryu Karate Association.

Family Martial Arts offers a wide variety of classes and Instruction. Our programs include Mixed Martial Arts, Children’s Karate for improved concentration and focus, Adult Fitness and Self-Defense and on the softer side T’ai Chi and Meditation classes.
